SWIM: Agent Capability Template

Note that these are not process models but rather an description of the capabilities of actors (or agents) within the system. We will use this information to build an agent capabilities model which can be used in 3 ways:

Agent Name

An agent (actor or participant) in the system is a piece of software or a human Each agent has the following attributes:

Role

A description of the agents role in AIM

Ownership?

At the simplest level this might be whether or not this actor is owned (part of) the AIM process Other ownership information may imply service or echelon control or control outside of the ISR domain.

Activities

A list of activities or functions/capabilities the agent can perform within AIM to be described in more detail see below. An activity is typically a unit of work which can be scheduled by a workflow engine.
