The Generic Frame Protocol

This chapter presents the functional interface of the Generic Frame protocol. Most of these forms are Common Lisp macros that expand into calls to a CLOS generic function. (The macros provide argument defaults that generic functions do not provide.)

For brevity we omit the the default value of the KB keyword argument to each of these functions and macros. In all cases, this argument defaults to (current-kb).

In this specification the functions are grouped by the kind of objects they access and manipulate. They are listed alphabetically in an index at the end of this document.
