I am a computer scientist at SRI in the area of artificial intelligence.

My research interests focus on Lifted Probabilistic Inference, applied to Natural Language Processing, Vision, and Commonsense Reasoning.

I am the PI of the SRI team in DARPA's Probabilistic Programming for Advanced Machine Learning program.

Our work on the project is best summarized by this paper:

Probabilistic Inference Modulo Theories (revised version, original version, bibtex, Powerpoint slides of IJCAI talk)
with Ciaran O'Reilly, Vibhav Gogate, and Rina Dechter.
Proceedings of the 25th Joint Conference in Artificial Intelligence (IJCAI-16).

Here's an online demo of our PRAiSE system, with examples, a User Guide, and a GitHub repository for source downloading.

PRAiSE relies on Expresso, a Java symbolic manipulation system, which has its own demo and GitHub repository.
