   Abstract

A presentation on educational animations and simulations with a discussion to follow. We will view a variety of animations and judge their merits from the perspectives of modern educational theory, attention to AP Biology Core Themes, and use within Inquire's digital AP Biology textbook.

   Bio for Ellen Fasman

Ellen Fasman is a summer IISME Fellow working with Vinay Chaudhri’s AI team on the intelligent textbook, Inquire. Ellen teaches biology and physiology at Concord High School.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early as you will need to sign in by following instructions by the lobby phone at Building E. SRI is located at 333 Ravenswood Avenue in Menlo Park.
