Photographer and former SRIs Artificial Intelligence Center researcher Quang-Tuan Luong will tell us about being the first to photograph all 58 U.S. National Parks with a large format (5x7 inch) camera. His work has been prominently featured in the Ken Burns PBS documentary The National Parks: Americas Best Idea" and in the companion book. The AIC was one of the first institutions to acquire his work, before it came to prominence. You can learn more about this work at his web site, http://www.terragalleria.com. |
