Abstract

The QA3 Question-Answering Program was tested on a set of questions about a database of simple chemical facts suggested by W. S. Cooper. The facts and questions, listed in this technical note, were typed in English as shown, using a restricted natural-language input program. QA3 correctly answered all of the answerable questions.
