   Project Description

The Integrated Learning project, led by BBN technologies, is focused on developing machine learning technology that would enable a system to learn general planning knowledge from user demonstrations of processes. SRI’s role on the project is to develop methods for making the learning process more interactive. Currently, we are developing a module called QUAIL (Question Asking to Inform Learning) that determines what questions should be asked of the demonstrator to facilitate learning, and when they should be asked.
