FAUST (Flexible Acquisition and Understanding System for Text)The goal of the Machine Reading Program (MRP) is to create an automated reading system that makes the knowledge in NL texts accessible to any of an open-ended range of formal reasoning systems. FAUST will implement innovative solutions to the key challenges that arise in building this bridge from knowledge encoded in natural language to knowledge for use by computational reasoning systems. |
Cognitive Assistant that Learns and OrganizesAs part of DARPA’s Personalized Assistant that Learns (PAL) program, SRI and team members are working on developing a next-generation "Cognitive Agent that Learns and Organizes" (CALO). |
