MONITOR

Purpose

A debugging tool for displaying the members of an agent community, inspecting individual agents, and for tracing and profiling interagent communication.

Description

Plugging in the monitor agent to a Facilitator agent will graphically display all members of an agent community, arranged in a circle around their parent Facilitator. Clicking on an individual agent displays information about the agent (language, host, solvables, etc.)

ICL Solvables

Monitor does not provide any publicly usable solvables. Two solvable definitions are used internally by triggers set by the monitor agent:

ev(Event) : Action sends information about events to Monitor
data(Event): Action sends information about agents connecting and disconnecting to Monitor
