The Virtual Yosemite Community will be a place on the World Wide Web and in the Digital Earth for sharing information about Yosemite National Park.  In time, this community will be a resource for students, researchers, travellers, rangers, artists, and others with an interest in the Park to share their experiences, data, and media.  The Digital Earth will act as a portal to this data, indexing and presenting it spatially.

This community will be founded through the efforts of participants in the WildLink program.  These students, teachers, and park rangers will be among the first to contrbute to the Community's contents.
