1 (untreated) lemon
1 (untreated) orange
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar (+ a little cinnamon & sugar to sprinkle)
1/2 tsp salt
Grate peel off lemon and orange. Squeeze lemon and orange.
Peel apples, slice thinly (I used a grater - I guess a food processor
might work too), and add to the juice so they won't get brown.
Break matzot into pieces and soak in cold water for about 3 minutes,
then pour through colander to remove excess water.
Add eggs, sugar, and melted butter, and mix everything together.
Put in a well-greased pyrex pan and sprinkle a little sugar mixed with
cinnamon on top.
Bake at 350 F for about 45 minutes to an hour, until brown.
