Sample Datasets
You can browse terrain dataset over the web from SRI's http
server. Just add the URL
http://www.tvgeo.com/TileSets/Pyramids
to your database via the Options button on the Open Database
option. (N.B. this server is currently not available.)
There is also
another TerraVision dataset server hosted on
the Internet2 network - thanks to Hunter Hagewood for this
facility!
However, if you would like to install a dataset locally on
your file system, then you can download the following
sample datasets. These are tar/gzipped archives (WinZip can
decode these under Windows).
