Brief Description

OWL-S has been the focus of a sizable amount of research effort, both from the OWL-S Coalition, which codified the ontology, as well as the researchers who have used OWL-S in their experimental work. Indeed, work on OWL-S can be found both in industry and academia, and papers on or using OWL-S are presented in virtually all conferences on the Web, Semantic Web and Web services. This workshop aims at providing a place where practitioners can exchange their experiences with OWL-S. Furthermore, the workshop will provide a forum in which to discuss the further evolution of OWL-S in such a way that users and communities with specific interests can take charge in proposing changes to the ontology that they believe will be helpful.
